Mexico’s Barceló Maya Beach Resort

The all-inclusive Barceló Maya Beach Resort, which was voted Travel + Leisure’s “2010 World’s Best Hotel” in Mexico, is actually five resorts in one: Barceló Maya Beach and Caribe, Barceló Maya Tropical and Colonial, and Barceló Palace Deluxe. Each of the resorts offer three distinct levels of accommodations. No matter where you are located, all guests enjoy a spectacular beach, gourmet dining, pools and water parks, water sports, spa and wellness center, theaters, and shopping complexes. The entire resort’s architecture and décor reflects the area’s native culture.

In keeping with Barceló’s reputation of being located on some of the beaches, Barceló Maya Beach Resort is located on a over a mile of white sandy beach midway between Playa Del Carmen and Tulum along Mexico’s Riviera Maya. Some say this is the best section of the Riveria Maya. Here, the coastline forms two natural bays and is fully protected by a coral reef, resulting in extremely calm, crystal clear waters.

Barceló Maya Palace Deluxe

Barceló Maya Tropical and Colonial

Centrally located, Barceló Maya Tropical and Colonial allows guests to easily take full advantage of the services and amenities at the neighboring hotels. It’s easy to get wrapped up in the vibrant Caribbean culture that surrounds this resort. Tranquil areas can be found throughout the property for rest and relaxation. Kids of all ages can enjoy the water park or participate in a variety of activities and games at the Barcy Kid’s Club.

This portion of the resort is the largest section within the Barceló Maya Beach resort complex. Embraced by over a mile of private white sand beaches and a magnificent natural preserve, this all-inclusive affords guests the chance to enjoy the amenities of two Barceló Premium hotels – Maya Beach and Maya Caribe. With a water sports center, the Barcy Kids’ Club, and excellent entertainment programs, everyone is sure to find something that suits their interests. The resort was recently upgraded with several modern room amenities, including Simmons Grand Dubai bedding, for one of the best night’s sleep in the Riviera Maya.
