Casa Maya – Fresh, Organic, and Delicious!
This quaint little restaurant has the freshest, organic, gourmet Mexican food I’ve ever tasted in the U.S.. Casa Maya is centrally located in Historic St. Augustine, FL about a block off St. George Street on 17 Hypolita Street. If the weather is nice, sit outside. They have several vegetarian options, plus a few others, when asked, can be made vegetarian. We’ve ate at Casa Maya several times and have never been disappointed. Some of our favorites dishes are the guacamole appetizer (a little pricey, but amazing). the vegetarian burrito (fresh, delicious, and very filling), and the veggie wrap with fresh mango and hummus (delightfully fresh). Don’t forget to try their fresh, refreshing and full of fruit Sangrias. The staff is always friendly and very helpful.

Mid summer, they are moving across the street into a larger building and will have a peaceful garden dining area in the back. We’re already planning a another mini road trip to check out the new place.
