A dream come true for individuals following a gluten-free diet.  However, even if  you don’t typically seek out gluten-free foods, this cool coffee shop and bakery can be enjoyed by everyone.  The Bald Strawberry is family owned and operated.  The inspiration for this neat cafe came when the family traveled to Spain and enjoyed numerous coffee shops and bakeries. Everything at The Bald Strawberry is 100 % gluten free and some items are vegan/vegetarian. They have a great selection of  homemade breads, cookies, pies, crumb cake, muffins, croissants, and pizzas plus they make custom cakes for special celebrations like weddings, birthdays, and baby showers.  We recently enjoyed a carrot  birthday cake specially prepared by The Bald Strawberry.  Not only was it beautifully decorated, it was delicious!  Don’t miss an opportunity to try either their breakfast pizza or regular pizza.  Both are very yummy!

It is great place to hang out with friends.  The coffee shop is broken into small rooms each distinctly unique.  Our favorite  is the vinyl room where you can choose your favorite song and give it a spin on the turntable. Then sit back and listen to some great tunes while enjoying delicious baked goods.  Also, check out the art on the walls, every two weeks the art changes so you have to keep coming back to see what’s new.  The Bald Strawberry is a friendly happening place  . . .Friday night is “Jam Night” plus they host a other local events.
